    The Library Board met at the library Friday evening October 21, 1921.
    Members Present: M. J. McPherson and Dr. E. L. Avery.
    Member absent: A. Garland.
    Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
    The lists of new books submitted by M. J. McPherson were to be ordered by the librarian.
    The matter of making our reference books viz: Century Dictionary and the International Encyclopedias, up to date was discussed. Two new Century books are to be purchased at $2.50 per volume as per letter.
    A letter asking for best terms was dictated by Mr. McPherson to be sent to the International Encyclopaedia Co., New York.

    The Library Board met at the library May 27th 1919 at one thirty o'clock. Members present: M. J. McPherson, E. L. Avery and Arthur Garland. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. Various requests for magazines and books were granted.
    The following bills were allowed:
    Geo. Wahr — books (5-15-19): $5.18
    City water: $11.00
    Survey Magazine: $4.00
    Michigan Telephone: $2.00
    Detroit Edison Co — lights: $7.15

    The election of officers for year beginning April 1st 1919:
    M. J. McPherson was elected President.
    A. Garland was elected Secretary.
    Dr. E. L. Avery was elected Treasurer.
