    Special Meeting of the Library Board. Frank Shields, W. S. Farnsworth, and M. J. McPherson present.
    On motion, it was decided to send our Librarian, Mrs. Van Slyke, as a delegate to convention at Grand Rapids in Oct.
    On motion, it was decided that we increase salary of Janitor fr. $60.00 to $70.00 per month from and after the 25th of Sept, 1929.
    The Janitor is also to be reimbursed $10.00 for extra help in caring for the grounds.

The following resolution was adopted— It is hereby directed that the Librarian may be granted ten days annual leave of absence with pay, such leave to be taken at a time that will least interfere with efficient service.
