    This is a photograph, sideview, of the original home of E.J. Hardy who wanted it to be large enough for all the children and their families.  It was near M-59.  The last house built by E.J. Hardy was "long and narrow".  The names of the people and date are unknown.

He was the sole owner at the time of these photographs, around 1920. They raised Shetland ponies and Holstein cattle with other livestock. The location was Sections 23 and 20 in Osceola Township.
